Thing #8
Flickr mashups can be used in my future classroom, by having the students do projects relating to pictures that interest them that lets them be creative and have fun at the same time. I feel that it is a way to show feelings, because as the saying goes, a picture is worth a 1,000 words or more. It can be a way for the students to choose what they want to do, instead of being told what to do and can teach them something that relates back to the standard. I feel that sharing photos online is a way to connect to other people and to express oneself without having to explain.
Thing #7
Since I like nature pictures, I figured I would key in where I grew up at and see what kind of photos there were. This picture stood out to me, because I feel peace and happiness from it. My experience with using Flickr was easy and fun. You get to click anywhere you want to go in the world with whatever you typed in to find and just start exploring. It is just an easy way to have some fun looking at many different types of pictures.

Thing #6
This tool is very awesome in many ways. It provides customers basically anything they need like: books, clothing, over the counter medicine, and groceries. It features free shipping on many of its items. This tool is very useful because it even allows people to review and rate items. This site features direct downloads like movies or games. Amazon has also introduced the Kindle family, so that is one way it could be used for school or library setting. If you don't want to buy the school books from the school bookstore, you can always try to find them on this site and probably get them cheaper too. I like this site because it's like a store online with mostly anything you can think of and get it with just a click away.

Thing #5
After reading some of the perspectives for teachers, I understand that our world needs technology because it makes life more easier and efficiently. Without technology, we would be wasting tons and tons of paper. The Internet makes things easier and faster to get to our work or just connecting to people across the world. As time goes on, technology is becoming more powerful for the fact that more people are coming up with newer ideas to make the technology better. In my mind, School 2.0 means that it is a site were the teachers can communicate to each other about teaching methods/styles, standards/curriculum, and other important information that is useful for them as well as the students. It can also be a site where students can get help from the teachers if they are unable to meet with them and even have help from other teachers that can elaborate more on the subject. For the schools in the future, it means that technology will be more advanced and that there will be no longer any more paperwork. All of the work will be online and will make everything be at a faster pace, which will make everyone be at advanced skills from an early start.

Thing #4
Commenting helps create a sense of community and interaction by getting involved in other people's ideas about certain things and have that connection over likes and dislikes. Commenting helps other people interact more with each other in a safe, sensible manner. Comments help to bring feedback to the writers. Some things that I found important was that commenting may be that certain posts relates to you, can make the writer feel good, can improve performance in school work or just in general and it is a way for the writers to knw they have been heard. The seven blogs that I commented on were: Lincoln Farmer, Alyssa Kniffen, Tammie Smith, Joshua Clements, Jessica Tucker (all from our class), Christina Ray and Rachel Jones (from a different class). I chose those people because they seemed to have interesting ideas and thoughts. My comments were based off of having related thoughts and giving my personal opinion on the subject. They were all interesting to read.

Thing #3
Some ways that a blog might used in my future classroom are journal type entries about the experiences that the students had each day and what they learned, to write about their problems and other students can help each other out, to write what types of methods were more useful than the others, and what kind of issues that most of the students need help on by writing down different ways for the students to learn more efficiently.
Thing #2
My decision on my posting name came from having dolphins as my favorite animal, so I thought it would be cool to put dolphingirl. The 219 at the end of dolphingirl are just random numbers. I made the name of the blog "Stamper's 23 Things" because I wanted my name to be somewhere in the title, so I thought my last name would be good and the 23 Things is just a given fact that that is what my post will be about. My experience in making the blog was pretty easy, once I knew where I had to go and write things down. It is pretty self explanatory and easy to follow. My avatar reflects my personality by showing that I am conservative and like things looking neat. My avatar looks like me, because I wanted viewers to know thats how I would look like and they would make a connection with it.
Thing #1
The easiest lifelong habits is number 6 of using technology to my advantage and the hardest habit is number 4 about having confidence in myself as a competent, effective learner. Number 6 is the easiest, because I am surrounded by technology all the time and everywhere. I love finding new websites that help me with my school work or anything in general. Number 4 is the hardest, because I'm always doubting myself on everything and I always feel like I'm not very smart, when in fact if I put my mind to it, I am! Confidence is something that I'm working on and trying to get better at it. By playing with the Web 2.0 tools, I want to learn what kind of different sites there are, how it really can help me academically and how to use it daily without being schoolwork. My experience in setting up my blog was easy, at the same time little bit difficult, because I prograstinated a little bit. I feel pretty good about setting the blog up and think that it's really not that hard at all.
